SYRACUSE, NY – Full appreciation of Chinese poetry cannot be had without good tea and a symphonic atmosphere. The Syracuse Poetry Tea Club is hosting a celebration of the melodic guzheng instrument, with plenty of tea and powerful poetry readings. Ding Yang, an alumnus of the prestigious Chinese Conservatory of Music, will be performing live at this event. Now a music instructor in the U.S. teaching both guqin and the guzheng, Ms. Yang’s musical talents have led her to perform for radio, television, and film.
So join us on Saturday November 19th from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at the Rock Center for a truly relaxing afternoon of music and culture. Tickets are $3 at the door.
